Honey Siracha Shrimp

***SHRIMP
2lbs shrimp
Keith Lorren Seafood Seasoning
Black Pepper
Lime Juice
flour to coat

***BATTER:
2 1/2 cups corn starch
1 1/2 tablespoon Baking powder
Keith Lorren Seafood Seasoning
Salt/Pepper
1 egg
Seltzer Water
Yellow coloring (optional)

***HONEY SAUCE
2 1/2 cups Mayonaise
3/4 cups Honey
Salt/Pepper
Lime Juice
1 teaspoon Keith Lorren Chicken Bouillion
1 1/2 tablespoon Powdered Sugar

***Siracha Sauce

oil heated to 375 degrees.

 

Directions:

  1. Season shrimp with Lime juice, Black pepper, and Keith Lorren's Seafood seasoning
  2. Place a bamboo skewer through each shrimp . allow to marinade for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Mix batter ingredients together to form a loose batter as shown in the video.
  4. Sprinkle shrimp with flour and dip each shrimp into the batter and immediately into the hot oil at 375 degrees..
  5. Drizzle each shrimp with the batter while its frying to create a decorative coating.
  6. Mix honey sauce ingredients together and drizzle fried shrimp with honey sauce, siracha sauce, and chopped chives.
